FROM FT :
so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.

so here it is:

Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.

and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]

prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.

[do email us at fashion.truth@gmail.com if we miss out any! ]

anyway,
for now...
the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.

sellers/buyers/readers, do email us and give us your feedback on what else we should add on this blog / this header-or-intro / anything to clarify. thank u very much

*wont be updating for the next 3 days. meanwhile, we urge readers to write in to us ya!

thanks!

blogroll

e-shops that wants to be added into the blogroll, please send us an email at fashion.truth@gmail.com
would appreciate if u all could link us up too

price comparisons
1. only items which have a price difference of RM7/8 and above will be posted up.
2. the price used for this price comparison is the price stated on the e-shop's webpage. (i understand that sometimes prices for items may vary depending on customers. some e-shops just put a high price as to allow further bargaining by the customers.)

mailing list
we appreciate it if eshop owners remove us from their mailing list. we are not a fashion review site thus there's no need for us to receive mails from u all telling us that u've updated. just add us up and we'll link u up at the blogroll. with that, readers will know when u update.

thank u

Stories from Readers 37

Hello fashion truth~

Before i share my experience in on9 shopping, i would like to list down four e-shops i have deal with them before and i am very happy with their goods and services =D So far,I am very satisfy with all of the clothes or dresses i bought from them.

Attire Attic
Devilish Bunnies
Rainbowmallows
Vibrant Swirls

Now i begin my story...
2 months ago, i was a new and innocent e-shopper. I have been looking to buy myself an accessories doll hanger. I search many of the shopping mall, but all the design of this kind of doll doesn't satisfy me. Here comes Sugar Dressing. I am so glad that i have found the design which satisfy me =) I sms-ed the seller about the details of the doll and she replied me. After that, i said i would like to think about which design i would like to buy (there are 3 design for me to choose). She told me that :" Can u pls faster tell me which one u want? There is another buyer want to buy too, but since u come 1st, i let u choose". Well, i have to admit that i am abit "kiasu" that time, i eventually decide to buy 2 design. So i request for little discount, but she refuse!

We agreed to COD on the coming Monday at our study place. On sunday night, i realize that i wouldnt need two accessories hanger, one is good enough for me. So i sms-ed her, politely tell her that can i buy only one? She replied :" No u can't babe! I ady reserved for u! Can't anymore." So in the end i bought both of them because i have my own principal that i shouldn't back-out.

Now, i browse thru Sugar Dressing, i saw that she had reduce the price!!! I am so upset because i asked for little discount, only RM4 discount, she refused ! Now i can guarantee that when i sms-ed her during that time, there wasn't any buyer except me! Because no one buy from her and that's why she was so demanding towards me. And she stated at her blog: NO BACK-OUT, KINDLY INFORM ME IF U NOT INTERESTED TO BUY THAT ITEM. I am not consider backing-out right? I sms-ed her the day b4 we COD, and i am not completely not buying, instead i buy one.

What i want to tell to all seller is, don't be too demanding selling your items, the customers have the right to consider what to buy. And i know all the seller ady earn much profit, a little discount is good to give to keep your customers. Now i swear i won't buy any of the items from Sugar Dressing! Even if i love the items very much or is cheaper than other e-shop! And also, i came across Clothesville last month if i am not mistaken, she selling even nicer design and much cheaper accessories hanger!

Stories from Readers 24

Hello! Came across your blog through Diaryofane-shopaholic and thought I'd write in about the GOOD (or rather, what is good in my opinion) e-boutiques that provide wonderful services at reasonable (although maybe not the lowest) prices since everyone seems to be concentrating on the bad stuff that happens when online shopping! : /

First, just wanna say that I am a frequent online shopper and have bought items from many e-boutiques. And to be honest, the majority of the time, I have dealt with nice, efficient and understanding e-boutique owners. Of course I have had my fair share of rude and inefficient owners but this is very rare.

So here is (in my opinion) the e-boutiques that I have dealt with that provide quality service!

Clothesbucket
Anyone that has dealt with her will agree that she is an EXCELLENT seller! Nice, efficient, patient and understanding. I have bought from her many many times and each time, I am happy with my purchases! She is honest with the descriptions and quality of her items and there have been occasions when I buy something that doesn't fit and she gladly exchanges it for me at no extra charge. Also, all her items come nicely folded (and I suspect she even irons them because they are always in PRISTINE condition!) in a clear plastic bag. Her prices are average and tend to be on the high side but frankly, I'd rather pay the RM5-7 extra and deal with her hassle free and without having to worry if my clothes will be in good condition.

Xoxo.Chic
This seller is really one of the friendliest sellers I have ever encountered! Dealing with her was such a joy! And when I met up with her for COD, she was the sweetest girl ever and we even chatted for a bit! Plus, she gave me a discount! (I bought more than one item though!) Her prices are average. Not cheap but not cut throat expensive but like I said, I don't mind paying a little more for good service! And to prove my point further, because they won't be able to do COD due to their exams, they are providing FREE POSTAGE! How's that for good service?

PhatCulture
EXTREMELY efficient (met up the next day for COD after I ordered!) very nice and accomodating. Both times that I have bought from her, she arranged the COD to be convenient for me. The second time we COD-ed, I couldn't make it the first 2 or 3 times and she was very patient and unlike some owners tend to do, she didn't threaten to let go of my items if we didn't meet in 3 days. Instead, we found a time that was convenient for both of us to meet and she didn't charge me for COD the second time around. :)

Other e-boutiques that also provide EXCELLENT EXCELLENT service are Dainty Dresser, Dressing Lab, Bucklebuckle, Doublewoot, Clothesforfun, Devilishbunnies, Round bean and Kissntell.

I would like to say something about ALL of these boutiques but it would be very repetitive because they ALL provide very very good service. :) I have NEVER had a bad experience with any of these boutique owners and reccomend them to you 110%!

At the end of the day, it is the relationship you establish between the e-boutique owner and yourself. Some of these e-boutiques that I have mentioned have reserved items for me for weeks (!!) because they know I won't back out and they trust me. Also, I am polite to them! Please remember that they are people to! Do not abuse them just because you think you are giving them business! Plus, I am a regular customer. I have been buying from Dressing Lab since they first opened! :)

And also, it's what you are willing to pay for. Sure, some of these e-boutique prices may be higher than others but you're also paying for a service! Sites like Dressing Lab, Dainty Dresser and Bucklebuckle obviously
sacrifice alot of time and effort to model the clothes, take pictures from every angle so you can see the item properly etc. Some of the cheaper sites don't necessarily take the time and effort to do this.

Lastly, be fair to boutique owners when you ask for a discount if you feel the item is too expensive. Don't expect like RM10 off! It's not fair! They are running a business! And also, I believe it is not ethical to ask for a discount if you are only buying ONE item! It is different if you buy maybe 3 or 4 items. Then I think asking for a discount is fair. Agree?

To all the e-boutique owners, keep up the good work! Online shopping is tons of fun! To all the shoppers, be careful who you deal with! Remember! Online shopping is supposed to be LESS stressful!
