FROM FT :
so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.

so here it is:

Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.

and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]

prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.

[do email us at fashion.truth@gmail.com if we miss out any! ]

anyway,
for now...
the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.

sellers/buyers/readers, do email us and give us your feedback on what else we should add on this blog / this header-or-intro / anything to clarify. thank u very much

*wont be updating for the next 3 days. meanwhile, we urge readers to write in to us ya!

thanks!

blogroll

e-shops that wants to be added into the blogroll, please send us an email at fashion.truth@gmail.com
would appreciate if u all could link us up too

price comparisons
1. only items which have a price difference of RM7/8 and above will be posted up.
2. the price used for this price comparison is the price stated on the e-shop's webpage. (i understand that sometimes prices for items may vary depending on customers. some e-shops just put a high price as to allow further bargaining by the customers.)

mailing list
we appreciate it if eshop owners remove us from their mailing list. we are not a fashion review site thus there's no need for us to receive mails from u all telling us that u've updated. just add us up and we'll link u up at the blogroll. with that, readers will know when u update.

thank u

hi fashion truth, i want to complain abt some blogshop owners taking a tremendously long time to reply. for goodness sake, you are running a business, albeit small scale don you think it is some responsibility? i know most of d owners are college students or uni students, but could they at least make time to check their emails at least once a day or in 2 days? my emails can go unreplied for at least 3-4 days, which is very frustrating.
it is even more frustrating when you are browsing and you fall in love with an item and excitedly email the blogshop owner, and check your email countless times a day anticipating a reply from the owner. then, the waiting begins. hours become longer hours, longer hours become days. this sucks you know? then 4 loooong days later you receive a harried email from them explaining some other faster person (oh, the irony) has already snapped up your dress or top or clutch that you wanted so badly and that you are unable to have it, after all the waiting you have done, not to mention the countless longing looks you have given the picture.
this is really frustrating. can you blogshop owners who are so busy until you cannot check your emails at least have the courtesy to leave your hp numbers in the shop, so anxious customers like me can sms in to reserve? at least we can sleep more soundly at night knowing that the dress you were wanting so badly is safely reserved for you.
few of the shops who took ages to reply were minipose, dlookinglass and afittingroomboutique, it is really frustrating.. please have a heart for those crazy shopaholics like me out there.
afittingroomboutique they only replied me in their chatbox, it was 3 days later that i, restless, went back to their shop to have another wistful look at my badly wanted dress, only to realize they had replied me in the chatbox but did not email me even though i left my email there.
those with prompt replies are kissandtell (though its gone a bit pricey these days), french kiss, dainty dresser, and shopaholixbar as well.
thanks for hearing me out. i apologize if i offended anyone out there, this was drafted while in a very annoyed, irritated and pissed mood.

hi. i'm the one that wrote in for Request 3 & 4.
can't believe that my request was actually posted up!
happy happy!

just wanted to tell u all that through the help of blogs like these, i can manage to find the items i want. plus, i'm now more careful when i purchase things. i make sure i survey properly first

but it's true what some readers sent in, sometimes the things we like, if we spend so much time surveying, the items will go out of stock very fast. but i suggest, never make decisions without thinking.

anyway, to cut the long story short, am happy that i'm going to get the dress i am searching for very soon from Princess Boutique!! personally speaking, i find the owner really nice. can't wait to meet up with her next week

and to recommend a few other blogshops which i frequent and like :
Autumn Closet, Vibrant Swirls, Buckle Buckle, French Kiss, Enchanting Hearts

and. now i guess i can add Princess boutique too? hopefully!!
can't wait!

I don't have much experience in blog shopping coz I normally buy from forums as they do COD more often than blog owners(i know they have tight schedules to go with). But I have been buyer to some blogshops and here's my lil experience(s):
Dainty Dresser - Very friendly and her photos to me are quite ok. Perhaps some might argue that the pictures are focusing too much on her face. But come to think of it, wouldn't we be attracted to people with smiles and bright face on pictures? If it's not the case, then there wouldn't be famous supermodels/stars gracing the advertisements of so many well known brands. As long as their services and prices are reasonable/acceptable, then that's what really matters(at least to me). As per the purchase, COD was done the next day after I confirmed it with her and she suited her time around my time(that's what I thought) and not only that, I was running late for 15 mins and she waited for me patiently.
Goddess City - She reserved the kimono dress for me and I thought of not getting it after bf commenting that it wouldn't fit me well. So, to cut story short, we got the deal done and did COD. I was running late for about half an hour because there was this accident on my way to Subang. She waited patiently without messaging me to hurry me. She even prepared the umbrella to walk to my car(she msged me to tell me that i need not to get down from the car since it was raining very heavily that day) to deliver the dress to me. Hand downs for this seller =) and owh, her photos are really amazing.
French Kiss - I must say their photos are getting better and the customer service is quite execellent as well. The venom dress that I bought from them was a result of superb photography skills from em =D
Wussytoots - A very friendly seller as well and waited half an hour for me because I was running late(as you all know, i seem to have a big prob with my time management XD). Pictures wise, it's good enough for me(as per my pic needs).
I think I am a very blessed shopper coz I have not been into bad transactions with any other sellers both blog or non blog places. I find this blog is a really useful one coz it's all fair play in business and if someone couldn't take criticism that well or perhaps don't bother to 'upgrade' themselves then they should be aware the possible businesses that they will lose.
On the other hand, I hope buyers do come out to share REAL encounters instead of taking this chance to simply leaving unreal bad/negative comments on blogshops. Please do not abuse this privillage of sharing your experiences be it good or bad by creating stories to make certain blogshops look bad. I am not trying to imply that everyone is doing so. But I believe with such thing up, there will be people taking advantage of it.

thanks!

i am a pretty new online shopper and i must say im satisfied with my new finds online, some of it are really awesome! but i had a few bad experiences the first time where i excitedly purchased a dress without enquiring about the height. alas it was a minidress and it barely covered my butt as the model was so petite. that wasted my money but i had no choice so i took it as a lesson.

from thereon i became more careful and started to browse more shops. most owners are very friendly such as french kiss, kiss and tell (very nice!), our mutual passion, tastycherrychapstick, and the closette etc.

however, i want to comment that the closette's prices are sometimes too high >.< i noticed that this satin dress from the closette

http://theclosettesold.blogspot.com/2008/10/satin-print-dress.html

is the same as the one from Ministry of Clothes. the difference? a whole hefty rm20 price difference.
also, the button side shorts from closette is rm11 more expensive than michatoo boutique.

however, i just wanted to draw attention to the price difference. i have no complaints about the closette's personality, she's a very nice person so i do not want to offend. thankss!
