FROM FT :
so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.

so here it is:

Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.

and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]

prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.

[do email us at fashion.truth@gmail.com if we miss out any! ]

anyway,
for now...
the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.

sellers/buyers/readers, do email us and give us your feedback on what else we should add on this blog / this header-or-intro / anything to clarify. thank u very much

*wont be updating for the next 3 days. meanwhile, we urge readers to write in to us ya!

thanks!

blogroll

e-shops that wants to be added into the blogroll, please send us an email at fashion.truth@gmail.com
would appreciate if u all could link us up too

price comparisons
1. only items which have a price difference of RM7/8 and above will be posted up.
2. the price used for this price comparison is the price stated on the e-shop's webpage. (i understand that sometimes prices for items may vary depending on customers. some e-shops just put a high price as to allow further bargaining by the customers.)

mailing list
we appreciate it if eshop owners remove us from their mailing list. we are not a fashion review site thus there's no need for us to receive mails from u all telling us that u've updated. just add us up and we'll link u up at the blogroll. with that, readers will know when u update.

thank u

hi fashion truth, i want to complain abt some blogshop owners taking a tremendously long time to reply. for goodness sake, you are running a business, albeit small scale don you think it is some responsibility? i know most of d owners are college students or uni students, but could they at least make time to check their emails at least once a day or in 2 days? my emails can go unreplied for at least 3-4 days, which is very frustrating.
it is even more frustrating when you are browsing and you fall in love with an item and excitedly email the blogshop owner, and check your email countless times a day anticipating a reply from the owner. then, the waiting begins. hours become longer hours, longer hours become days. this sucks you know? then 4 loooong days later you receive a harried email from them explaining some other faster person (oh, the irony) has already snapped up your dress or top or clutch that you wanted so badly and that you are unable to have it, after all the waiting you have done, not to mention the countless longing looks you have given the picture.
this is really frustrating. can you blogshop owners who are so busy until you cannot check your emails at least have the courtesy to leave your hp numbers in the shop, so anxious customers like me can sms in to reserve? at least we can sleep more soundly at night knowing that the dress you were wanting so badly is safely reserved for you.
few of the shops who took ages to reply were minipose, dlookinglass and afittingroomboutique, it is really frustrating.. please have a heart for those crazy shopaholics like me out there.
afittingroomboutique they only replied me in their chatbox, it was 3 days later that i, restless, went back to their shop to have another wistful look at my badly wanted dress, only to realize they had replied me in the chatbox but did not email me even though i left my email there.
those with prompt replies are kissandtell (though its gone a bit pricey these days), french kiss, dainty dresser, and shopaholixbar as well.
thanks for hearing me out. i apologize if i offended anyone out there, this was drafted while in a very annoyed, irritated and pissed mood.

HEyyy.
i'm writing in response to http://fashion-truth.blogspot.com/2008/11/stories-from-readers-62.html, i wish i saw this post like yesterday or something!

i just collected the same dress from minipose today, and now i see two others selling it for less than 30!!!
sweat*

but i look at it like this: the blog seller gets to put her price at however much she wants (RM 1000 for example), if you as a buyer, are willing to pay RM1000, because its super nice or you really want it right, then i think the amount of profit the seller makes is fair.

so even though i feel the pinch since i bought from minipose for so much more, when i saw that dress, i was "willing" to pay RM 47 (including COD) for it, so cannot say she "cheat" me by charging so much higher than others.. Coz she didn't force me to buy it. or say she was the cheapest in town...

if everyone finds the cheaper store or finds it too overpriced, then no one buy from them (e.g. minipose) then they will have to reduce price/go on sale (like what MOSTTTT shops in the shopping malls do...)

i hope this helps give some perspective about shop pricing...

Stories from readers 62

oh my god kudos to you to bring up a blog on these topics.
I personally do think we need it, to voice out our opinions, experiences and to share the knowledge of course.

For all the sellers, I think you should take this as a way to improve your business. After all, business has always not been that easy.

We, the customers have our own rights too. I am writing here today to tell you guys about the overprice difference.

Seriously if it is just around < RM10 difference, I wouldn't be that mind. I understand maybe some of you have that difference on certain charges. But if it reaches up to RM20, then that's definitely a different kind of story, dont you think so?

For an example, let's take a look at this one blogshophttp://minipose.blogspot.com/I almost bought an item from her, until my boyfriend hopped around and found this one site (http://bambeedear.blogspot.com/) that has almost similar items, ONLY that it is MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper. OMG.

Like for an example, lets take a look at an item at minipose's.
Item no. : MP 136
Price : RM 45Material : High Quality Thick CottonColor : Cappucino ( Reserve ) / Black ( Reserve ) / White ( Reserve )
Size : FreeMeasurements : Long - 79cm ; Bust - 80~102cm

the dress is pretty, sporty and stylish, right? and the price seems reasonable too.

but take a look at bambee dear's,Code: YS6104
Colours: White, Khakis, Black
Material: Cotton
Measurement: Bust 80-102cm, Sleeve 58cm, Shoulder 41cm, Length 79cm
Price: RM29

yes, its too much for the price difference, and please I seek for an explanation. Why? And about TicTacToe's price that once she got it for only RM12 but sold it at RM45 is just wayyyy too much. You're insulting your customers for not being truthful to them. Please, stop it.

Blogshops used to be genuine, cheap and affordable. But these days, because of people like these, the price are hiking like madness and its no fun anymore :( -Buyer.
