I totally agree with fashion truth. The purpose of this blog is for both sellers and buyers to share their stories: good and bad. And this blog also serves as a purpose that buyers can get the best bargain. Believe it or not, we human love getting the best bargains, regardless you are a buyer or owner. It's human nature.
And by putting up price comparison, I don't think it is forcing blogshops to lower their price or to make them lose business. I mean, c'mon. You guys should know better when you have decided to get into the business world. All these things are normal. If you take business and economics, you will know what I mean. No need to get upset and bitchy about it, then go blame the whole world for pulling you down. People will only get disgusted of your actions, and not pity you. There is always ups and downs, and it all depends on your ability to make it a win-win situation.
And for sellers, I do know and understand that you might feel unappreciated or stuff like that. But please, for goodness sake, stop telling us buyers how hard you work, get your stocks, how much you burn on fuels, how much time taken. I believe when you first make the decision to open a blogshops, that's the basic things you know you will have to go through, and there will no easy jobs for you. I'm sure you are very clear of all these, and did all these willingly. We buyers did not force you. So please do not whine and make comments that buyers do not appreciate your hardwork, yada daya yaya dada. And please PLEASE, do not ask us to put ourselves in your shoes; and that is asking us to go open a blogshop ourselves. This is just so ridiculous and childish. Not everyone is interested in business ok.
I myself have shopped online a few times, and I think overall I did have a good experience so far. When I first got involved in online shopping, I wasn't sure how it goes and how far I can trust the blogshops. It's a risk that we all buyers have to take. If you don't dare, fine. Nobody will judge you for that. But if you decided to take the risk, please do not condemn and criticize till the extend that you wanna destroy that blogshops. There are no rights and wrongs. Yes, human do make mistakes. You can share your bad experience, but don't over do it. Even if you got something which is way expensive and you realise after that that the other blogshop is selling it way cheaper, don't go condemn the blogshop. Realise that you haven't been doing enough research yourself. The owner did not force you to buy, you buy on your freewill. It is just plain childish to venge all your frustrations and anger on just one party.
So far, my online shopping experience have been fun. The owners are friendly and very helpful. They all have patiently answered all the enquiries that I had. And their services have been excellent. I think these blogshops (Dainty Dresser, A Fashion Story, Fashion Attic and etc.) deserve cheers, and I would definitely shop with them in the future. All my items are received in good condition, and I love each and every of the items I have purchased. The only one time I dreaded was when my item did not reached me. Turns out that the owner had wrote the wrong address. Thank God that the post office have been really helpful and patient with me. And the owner, she did her part on helping me to track back my item too. Like I said, humans made mistakes. As long as one is willing to learn from mistakes.
People tends to only see the bad sides but neglect the good sides. When the experience is good, they just act as if it's a must and neglect it. But once it gone bad, they condemn and criticise about it, and forget about all the good times they had. What I'm trying to say is, do not forget the good times! Share them out, instead of just keeping them and sharing the bad ones. You will scare and freak the newbies when all they see are only bad testimonials!
Different people has different values, different ways of thinking and seeing things. You can disagree about things, but bear in mind that each human is different.
To fashion truth, I thank you for all the efforts that you have put in to make online shopping much more pleasant. I really appreciate your existence and you have my support. =)
To all you shoppers out there, happy shopping!
FROM FT :
so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.
so here it is:
Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.
and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]
prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.
[do email us at fashion.truth@gmail.com if we miss out any! ]
anyway,
for now...
the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.
sellers/buyers/readers, do email us and give us your feedback on what else we should add on this blog / this header-or-intro / anything to clarify. thank u very much
*wont be updating for the next 3 days. meanwhile, we urge readers to write in to us ya!
thanks!

1. only items which have a price difference of RM7/8 and above will be posted up.
2. the price used for this price comparison is the price stated on the e-shop's webpage. (i understand that sometimes prices for items may vary depending on customers. some e-shops just put a high price as to allow further bargaining by the customers.)
