Hey I hope you don't mind publishing this for me at your blog :)
Hey everyone, first of all congrats to fashion truth owner :) I think we shoppers are happy that there's a site where we can shop on a budget and compare prices and make better choices.
First of all, I would like to warn all of you shoppers out there. Lets just say if you item is Rm30 and you banked in Rm40 including postage charges, I would advise you to bank in the right amount or either let the ehop owner keep the change then you can minus it off your next purchase. I've just gotten my parcel and guess what? My RM4 was missing in it. I know right? It's just RM4 and those skanky workers at the pos office stole it!! >:( I was so freaking pissed off! Eventhough it's just RM4, but it's really dishonest to just steal it from a parcel. So yeah, to all online shoppers out there, becareful. It's either you bank in the exact amount you're suppose to pay or online banking or let the eshop owner keep the change so she/he can just minus it off for your next purchase.
Secondly, about comparing prices with pre orders. Pre orders may look nice in pictures. It's because it's photoshopped :S and somehow I don't really trust pre orders. The clothes may seem nice in pictures but when the parcel arrives at your house, you will be shock! It's nothing like it in the photo.
Thirdly, about comparing prices. I understand how you shoppers feel when an eshop owner raises their pricing so high compared to others. But the truth is, when you go to the supplier, every customer gets different price. It's only the matter of you knowing how to bargain well with them or not. I've been to supplier before. They're pretty unfriendly and easily annoyed when it comes to bargaining eventhough after buying tonnes of dresses and tops. Only the really pushy buyers can get it their way. others don't. So I don't really blame eshop owners who priced their clothes higher than others. But one of the most reasonable shops I've shopped with is Stop.Shop.Splurge, Midnight Glam, ClothesBucket, Tasty Cherry Chapstick and Clothesville. They are all nice people so I would advice you to buy from them :) I've bought over 60 dresses online and most of them are from StopShopSplurge. The owner is really sweet and nice. Not to mention patient too :)
Xoxo Avid Shopper :)
FROM FT :
so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.
so here it is:
Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.
and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]
prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.
[do email us at fashion.truth@gmail.com if we miss out any! ]
anyway,
for now...
the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.
sellers/buyers/readers, do email us and give us your feedback on what else we should add on this blog / this header-or-intro / anything to clarify. thank u very much
*wont be updating for the next 3 days. meanwhile, we urge readers to write in to us ya!
thanks!

e-shops that wants to be added into the blogroll, please send us an email at fashion.truth@gmail.com
would appreciate if u all could link us up too
price comparisons
1. only items which have a price difference of RM7/8 and above will be posted up.
2. the price used for this price comparison is the price stated on the e-shop's webpage. (i understand that sometimes prices for items may vary depending on customers. some e-shops just put a high price as to allow further bargaining by the customers.)
mailing list
we appreciate it if eshop owners remove us from their mailing list. we are not a fashion review site thus there's no need for us to receive mails from u all telling us that u've updated. just add us up and we'll link u up at the blogroll. with that, readers will know when u update.
thank u

on the pre-order part, we do agree with the reader. If you're buying pre-order especially korea fashion, most of the stuff are made in china, directly fromt eh factory. The pictures are all taken from magazines, and the actual product is not really that beautiful :/ and the size, although those suppliers always say free size, most of the time it can only fit S-M. So buyers please beware though.
Yea, totally agree.
When I started out online shopping, the first transaction I had was a pre-order and it totally gave me a big trauma!
I was cheated of 100 bucks as all the items were WAYY bigger than the sizes given or in pictures and the material was just piece of crap. Let's just say that you cant even sell it in pasar malam.
So, thru that experience, I've become more aware of online shopping scams. and I hope everyone takes extra precaution on pre-orders!
hey, but first of all ya need to know is it the postmen who steal the money, or is it the seller who didnt insert in it?
Because as I know if u send it using Pos express there is no way for the postmen to open it up and then seal it back. As once it is tear, it cannot be seal back :)!
Another thing is i dont think so a postmen will tear open and then purchase a new envelope, fille in the blanks and then send it off, hurmp..im unsure but this is what i think!hehe :)!
I just received my order(Pos Ekspres), and it's being tore open... >.< Luckily mine do not have any extra balance inside.
so sellers if you see this, do remember to seal your Pos Ekspress with cellotape.
All sellers could put the balance hidden in the clothes pocket or keep it hidden within the clothes :)! Just a suggestion. Hope tht helps.
