Thought I'd share a very recent, pleasant shopping experience about Greeen Bananas (and the owner, Sharon).
First impression:
Cute page layout, with decent photos too. I like that they sell quite unique pieces not often seen, and they bring in a variety of em (t-shirts, tops, cardis, dresses...). Pretty reasonable prices, IMO. They seem to bring in new things quite often. I get the feeling that they don't bring in many quantities of one item (because they seem to sell out quite fast), but rather, they bring in one/two pieces of several different items. On the downside, you've gotta be quick to grab what you want, but it does mean that you're less likely to show up somewhere only to find someone in the same piece as you! Cos we all know that's a girl's worst nightmare, yea? ;)
I managed to find something I liked, so I looked around for a tagboard to ask for more details, but sadly they don't have one. Well okay, email then...

So they don't need a tagboard after all, because I got a very prompt reply. I was really impressed by the way Sharon replied. Most blogshop owners are friendly and polite, but I got a sense of professionalism from Sharon. She noted my name from the email's Sender Name and addressed me by that in all her emails (whereas many people just call you 'babe' or 'dear' - which is perfectly fine, of course! But addressing someone by name just seems a tad more professional). I'm picky so I ask for loads of measurements, but she was very helpful and polite in her quick replies.
Delivery:
My package was sent out via Pos Ekspres the day after I banked in the money, with no delays. When it arrived, it was packed inside a thick plastic ziploc bag, which I really appreciate because we all know that the postman doesn't really think twice about tossing your package onto a wet puddle on your driveway. There was also a small Thank You note, which was adorable and handmade, too (as I later found out). Very nice touch.
Quality:
Colour was almost identical to what was seen in the photo, and the material was as specified. Measurements were correct as well, so it fit just as I thought.
Overall: I'd definitely recommend Greeen Bananas! Decent prices, good clothes, great service :) Two thumbs up to the people behind GB!

so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.
so here it is:
Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.
and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]
prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.

the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.
