FROM FT :
so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.

so here it is:

Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.

and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]

prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.

[do email us at fashion.truth@gmail.com if we miss out any! ]

anyway,
for now...
the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.

sellers/buyers/readers, do email us and give us your feedback on what else we should add on this blog / this header-or-intro / anything to clarify. thank u very much

*wont be updating for the next 3 days. meanwhile, we urge readers to write in to us ya!

thanks!

blogroll

e-shops that wants to be added into the blogroll, please send us an email at fashion.truth@gmail.com
would appreciate if u all could link us up too

price comparisons
1. only items which have a price difference of RM7/8 and above will be posted up.
2. the price used for this price comparison is the price stated on the e-shop's webpage. (i understand that sometimes prices for items may vary depending on customers. some e-shops just put a high price as to allow further bargaining by the customers.)

mailing list
we appreciate it if eshop owners remove us from their mailing list. we are not a fashion review site thus there's no need for us to receive mails from u all telling us that u've updated. just add us up and we'll link u up at the blogroll. with that, readers will know when u update.

thank u

Reader 91

just want some clarification

what exactly is the definition of BACK OUT?
meaning to say someone who has promised to buy but back out after that?

maybe yes, maybe no
but then again,
what is the definition of "promise to buy" ?
making reservations, is that considered as a "promise to buy" ?

i personally do NOT think so

recently, i took interest in this particular top from a particular shop
and when i asked whether i can reserve it,
she replied me back,
requiring me to fill up the reservation form (i have no problem with this at all ya)
and then at the bottom of the email she said,
i have to pay up within X amount of days (i can't remember)
and she ended with "dont back out ya!"

i seriously am query about this and i definitely do not like how that email ended
maybe it's just me, maybe not

but i dont like it lor!
backing out does not sound like a good word to me

and my opinion on this?
if i suddenly change my mind and decide not to buy it within the grace period, that's not call back out. it simply means i change my mind. i need time to decide about it too!

but if i promised to buy it and kept on promising that i will buy it, and i DONT,
then it's called back out

i do think that blogshop owners should be careful with the words they use
it can be offending at times, they may think it's nothing, but different people understand / take things differently and it's always wise to be careful with the words used when communicating.

girl you do have a point there
BACK OUT is overstated, and is not specific or clear enough

and yes, just because we send in an order form, then change our mind within the grace period, is that back out? we'll get black listed then? :(

anyway, at the same time, if just sending in orders then changing our minds does NOT EQUAL BACK OUT, to blogshop owners' credit, i guess they have the right to let it go to whoever who pays first (and us buyers can't complain that "we reserve it but they sold off!")cos who knows if us buyers will change our mind again right? Hehe

geez, does anyone get what i'm trying to convey here? hehe just trying to be neutral to both buyers and seller

conclusion,
SEND IN ORDER FORM
-BUYERS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE HER MIND (PROVIDED SHE DOES NOT SAY "OH I'LL BUY I'LL SURELY BUY I'LL DEFINITELY MAKE PAYMENT IN THREE DAYS")
-SELLERS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SELL OFF TO ANYONE WHO PAYS FIRST (EVEN IF THERE'S AN ORDERRRR FORM FROM SOMEONE EARLIER)

difficult situation, huh!

Well hey hun, different blogshops have different reservation plans. Right?

Usually, in my opinion, when I run my blogshop, when my customer says 'I am confirmed getting it' with the word 'confirmed', then he/she shouldn't back out. Fair?

But in your case, i have...no straight comments. But hun, you must understand, if everyone reserves, then the blogshop owner will have trouble dealing with other customers.

=))

i would say that as long as you have asked a seller to reserve something for you, you're bound to honour it. if you change your mind and decide not to purchase it, then it's considered a back out.

after all, it's unfair to sellers that a buyer can simply reserve this and that and they have to turn other potential buyers down, just to find out few days later that the buyer has changed her mind. if you're not 100% sure about it, it's better not to reserve so you don't deprive some other buyers really want the item.

hey reader :)

i think several sites have different ordering systems. order forms are for those who are confirm ordering an item off the site, therefore they are confirm buying... right?

if shoppers were to send in orders but with no intention to buy (because they take time to decide) then that shouldn't be right, right? they should think before putting in an order, because i noticed most of the order forms state: for those who are 100% sure that they want to buy.

it also depends on the blogshop where if the order form has a checkbox where you confirm ordering and will not back out. for my site, if the order form is received, we'll send out an invoice if the item is available and the buyer is given 3 days to make payment or else the invoice is voided. all the t&c is stated there, so it's easy for all.

though we do let our regular customers make reservation as we're more familiar with them. there has been many occasions where people place orders but never reply our emails or smses after we have sent them an invoice. it's quite rude actually, because it'll definitely help the blogshop owners to know that if you're not interested anymore instead of wasting their time/credit.

i urge that shoppers think carefully before filling up an order form because if sellers were to sell an item off to whoever pays first, you might find it unfair because you ordered first (what if this happens when you really really really wanted an item?)

cheers

IMHO, if you wana cancel your order, you should inform the seller as soon as possible lor. At least getting an email saying, "sorry I changed my mind" is better than no news at all. It's very frustrating to wait for somebody who doesn't want to reply mail, yet at the same time got other buyers asking for the same item! It really puts the seller in dilemma you know? To sell to somebody who promise to pay immediately or to reserve it for somebody who might disappear? Every sellers are doing business after all, and somemore those shopping malls also never have reserve policy, so why abuse the reservation system? You don't have to say it face to face, why so takut? Some blogshops also don't blacklist people if they change their mind and inform asap one.

In my opinion, when u use terms such as::

CONFIRM: Means no back out after buyer or seller said that word. Seller promise to sell the item to buyer, and buyer promise to pay.

RESERVED: Means can back out in certain period, i.e after 3 days, seller can cancel order, and buyer can change her mind oso.

another term, JUST ASKING/QUERY: Means, the buyer and seller in the nego or clarification process-so no promises, no reserved, and no back out existed.

OK? :)
