hey fashion-truth :):)
regarding on of the earlier posts on how
a buyer comes complaining to saying that the dress/top is different compared to what was described/in pictures
those e-shops owners might be all "customers should approach us 1st & let us know", "we'll work something out" etc etc
it actually doesn't work this way.
I've came across an e-shop where i bought a top.
In the picture the top is charcoal grey in colour imagine how i felt when the top came and it was purple.
when i mailed the owner saying that i hv received the top but i would appreciate her putting the real colour of the goods next time she rebut by saying " i have no reason to change/edit the colour of the top maybe its ur computer screen etc etc"
I got pissed off when i read it.
She didn't even offer a refund instead got defensive.
This is very very poor customer service & needless to say i won't be purchasing fr that e-shop in the future.
Another e-shop which photos dun reflect the actual item is velvet-Ribbon.
i have bought a dress fr her n am extremely unsatisfied with it.
As in the pictures the dress look silky smooth & when the real item came it had a rough texture.
Looking back, i know that it was partially my fault as i forgot to ask for the material of the dress coz i was rushing to bank in. As she kept sending e-mails ( like 3 a day) asking hi dear so when can u bank in XOXO threatening that 3 other customers were interested in the item. N this was less then 10 hrs after i reserved it. :
My fren also bought a top fr her & the top turned out different.
My point is, all her photos are heavily photoshopped! with soooo much of flash hence making the material look smooth.
And i came across a customer complainning bout the material of an item in diary's cbox.
One of her replies was, "we still love you no matter what <33333"
I mean, come on. That's the best u've got? When a customer complains bout the material u jz tell them u love them & still CONTINUE to photoshop ur item.
By saying that u think everything will be solved?
LOL. had to admit though, when i read that line i had a good laugh.
My point is, sometimes when the item i received is different fr what i received i jz can't be bothered to e-mail them as most of them will jz get defensive, rather rude & find lame excuses to rebutt u.
But i have to admit, i had my fair shares of good buys :):)
Despite my bad experiences, I still love on9 shopping as the stuff are much different fr those selling in shops.
Plus it super addictive. :)
Heh.
FROM FT :
so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.
so here it is:
Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.
and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]
prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.
[do email us at fashion.truth@gmail.com if we miss out any! ]
anyway,
for now...
the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.
sellers/buyers/readers, do email us and give us your feedback on what else we should add on this blog / this header-or-intro / anything to clarify. thank u very much
*wont be updating for the next 3 days. meanwhile, we urge readers to write in to us ya!
thanks!

blogroll
e-shops that wants to be added into the blogroll, please send us an email at fashion.truth@gmail.com
would appreciate if u all could link us up too
price comparisons
1. only items which have a price difference of RM7/8 and above will be posted up.
2. the price used for this price comparison is the price stated on the e-shop's webpage. (i understand that sometimes prices for items may vary depending on customers. some e-shops just put a high price as to allow further bargaining by the customers.)
mailing list
we appreciate it if eshop owners remove us from their mailing list. we are not a fashion review site thus there's no need for us to receive mails from u all telling us that u've updated. just add us up and we'll link u up at the blogroll. with that, readers will know when u update.
thank u

unfortunately i would hv to agree tht screen resolutions n brightness differs from computer 2 computer.
if u use someone's computer or a college computer versus ur own, u would know there is a difference most of the time.
on the seller's computer, the colour may b exactly the same whilst on ur computer it may b brighter or darker
as for the flash, anyone who camwhores know tht if u don't use flash, the pictures will b blur, some people choose blur pictures with natural lighting, some people prefer sharp pictures with flash
