FROM FT :
so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.

so here it is:

Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.

and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]

prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.

[do email us at fashion.truth@gmail.com if we miss out any! ]

anyway,
for now...
the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.

sellers/buyers/readers, do email us and give us your feedback on what else we should add on this blog / this header-or-intro / anything to clarify. thank u very much

*wont be updating for the next 3 days. meanwhile, we urge readers to write in to us ya!

blogroll

e-shops that wants to be added into the blogroll, please send us an email at fashion.truth@gmail.com
would appreciate if u all could link us up too

price comparisons
1. only items which have a price difference of RM7/8 and above will be posted up.
2. the price used for this price comparison is the price stated on the e-shop's webpage. (i understand that sometimes prices for items may vary depending on customers. some e-shops just put a high price as to allow further bargaining by the customers.)

mailing list
we appreciate it if eshop owners remove us from their mailing list. we are not a fashion review site thus there's no need for us to receive mails from u all telling us that u've updated. just add us up and we'll link u up at the blogroll. with that, readers will know when u update.

thank u

Reader 125

i was bloghopping and saw this at BIBABOT

If you enquire upon an item more than thrice and not buy it, we will not hesitate to blacklist you and we don't want that to happen. (

honestly, i was stunned.
it suddenly seems like enquiring about items has became a "crime" in the online shopping world.

i know that there are many people out there who sends in enquiries to sellers all the time. but i supposed that's because they have at least that slight interest in purchasing it. it all depends on whether the buyer has sufficient cash, or whether the item is nice enough / worth it enough, and for some, whether the seller is nice enough.

i think some customers do not make up their mind to make purchases immediately. they may inquire for the information, and take days, or maybe weeks to decide.

anyway point is, i just find that statement above an irony.

oh and i came across this site that actually fines buyers for being late during COD.
i can't remember the website URL, but if my memory is correct, the seller said something about a 'fine' of RM5 for 5 / 10 minutes late during COD.

it just shows that there are 2 types of sellers. one, willing to wait although they may end up waiting for an hour, and the next type, sellers who probably wants to teach the customer a lesson by giving 'penalty' for late COD. lol if i'm the customer, i think i'll just disappear and not turn up for COD.

... and!
there are sites claiming to be "environmental friendly" *think Ministry of CLothes* by saying no plastic bags/paper bags or wtv will be provided during COD. they expect customers to bring their own shopping bags.

as a buyer, i totally dont see any sense in this. i kinda think the seller dont have enough plastic bags/ paper bags and thought of the easy way out by saying they wanna be "environmental friendly".

(ps*** i checked MOC and i think they removed the "environmental friendly policy" but i'm sure there are many other sites out there having the same concept)

just my thoughts

oh my. i didn't realise i came off as mean.. it's not like that, if you ask our customers, we'd be happy to reply! :) but there were a handful of customers who didn't read the descriptions properly and kept repeating the question to us and made us wait for 2 weeks.. it kind of sent us off the edge. she cancelled last minute.

if we came off as mean, we're sorry! :(

i think the "bring your own bag" thing is pretty okay if they already said it on the site.. i mean less consuming less producing no? and we do need to help earth. even jusco and all are encouraging to do so. However its just my opinion :)

the RM 5 penalty?? WOW! this is the first i've heard of it. and it is unfair if they're charging us RM1 a minute and yet theirs is RM1 per 5 minutes. if they want to charge for penalties might as well make it fair kan?

anyways.. just my 2 cents. Thanks for bringing it up! :D
