i'm an avid reader of FT.
well, i have some stuff to say, it doesn't really have anything to do with online shopping sites, but reviewers
there are sooooo many reviewers out there. diary, a shopaholics den, shopping critique, style2 . these are the ones that i frequent. and i realized that the things they feature, are almost about the same! the same dress/top featured and be found featured in other reviewer sites as well! i remember sometime ago there's a reader that wrote to FT stating that Diary only feature few blogshops. i noticed there was some change after the reader posted up that comment, but now, it just seems like it's back to the old ways. the same old blogshop being featured.
i understand that these reviewers review only the things that catches their eye, but i really hope there are more variety when they feature. seeing the same old item being featured over and over again is no fun.
oh and i'm a seller too. we used to be featured by ashopaholicsden a lot. but now it seems to have been cut down, but quite a bit. we see our items that are sold at other shops being featured. err meaning, this dress A selling at our shop is also selling at SHOP B, and we came out with that particular dress first. and we dont get reviewed. it happens quite a lot of times already and sometimes it just gets a bit disappointing. stop shop splurge is never failed to be reviewed. heard that the owner of ashopaholicsden is also the model for SSS.
just voicing out my disappointment in reviewers these days. hope u all can review more items from various shops and not just the popular shops.
and autumn closet is soooo expensive. from what i see, their blogshop is really popular. maybe it's because of the page layout, how the photos turn out and yadaa yadaa. but their items are almost always RM10 higher than other blogshops.
FROM FT :
so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.
so here it is:
Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.
and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]
prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.
[do email us at fashion.truth@gmail.com if we miss out any! ]
anyway,
for now...
the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.
sellers/buyers/readers, do email us and give us your feedback on what else we should add on this blog / this header-or-intro / anything to clarify. thank u very much
*wont be updating for the next 3 days. meanwhile, we urge readers to write in to us ya!
thanks!

blogroll
e-shops that wants to be added into the blogroll, please send us an email at fashion.truth@gmail.com
would appreciate if u all could link us up too
price comparisons
1. only items which have a price difference of RM7/8 and above will be posted up.
2. the price used for this price comparison is the price stated on the e-shop's webpage. (i understand that sometimes prices for items may vary depending on customers. some e-shops just put a high price as to allow further bargaining by the customers.)
mailing list
we appreciate it if eshop owners remove us from their mailing list. we are not a fashion review site thus there's no need for us to receive mails from u all telling us that u've updated. just add us up and we'll link u up at the blogroll. with that, readers will know when u update.
thank u

exactly... so many reviewers...
the stuffs are more or less the same..
and regarding autumn closet, i have to agree, the clothes are soooo expensive... even after discounts..
but the clothes there are really nice...
happened to our shop too.
Hey there, just to let you know that there is a review site which tries to be different.
The Pauper's Wishlist includes commentary and actual reviews. I try to avoid the typical picks and to be preloved-friendly.
I call it a new review site with a personal touch. While I cover considerably less items than the others, the point of my review blog is to encourage a more analytical point of view rather than just buybuybuy cuz it's trendy or branded.
From design to pricing to presentation, I try to keep the reviews comprehensive and just a little cheeky =P
Don't take my word for it, drop by and see for yourself.
Do leave a comment or email your suggestions, even just to say you dropped by =] I reply emails with as much of myself as I write =]

hmm i think for Autumn Closet, her photographs are nice, and probably the layout. everything add together, make the clothes look nice. coz if see the price comparisons of her items against other blogshops' items, can see the difference in photo taking. and because of the difference, somehow it makes other blogshops' item look cheaper and not so nice.
it's all about the photos, i think.
The reason why the items we review are more or less the same is because the sellers send us emails regarding their updates.
I would love to review more items from various shops, but I do not have all the time in the world to go blog hopping and seeing which online boutique has updated.
However, I do not review each and every online boutique that sends me an email, because I only review what I feel looks nice. I also take time to write about each item, rather than just posting the picture or inserting one liners such as, "So pretty!"
But I guess I cannot please everyone. :)
Hello, darling.
Sometimes, we reviewer try to not stumble onto the same item but we can't help it if we somehow got attracted to the same item.
At Fashion.Gossips, I rate the items based on my own opinion and state the reason why. Those items you see in my site are those that I wish to buy or already bought (n still have a fling for it) I welcome preloved items too! (Hey, sometimes girls do let go gorgeous stuffs okayss) and as a buyer myself, I've to agree that Autumn Closet's kinda pricey but their items are nevertheless pretty n tho some other blogshops may have the same item as them, they still think differently on profit wise. =) Do visit http://fashiongossips-unrated.blogspot.com
