picture does make a difference
i honestly pity those blogshop owners who do not have the time/opportunity to take good photos of their clothings. because good pictures does play a REALLY REALLY big role.
not all owners have the time, the correct place, the suitable camera, the appealing background colour, the good poses.... to take good pictures.
and they are a "step behind" from those blogshops that takes good pictures even when their prices are way lower
here's an example :
super awesome picture. so much time were spent on getting the photoshoot done, setting up the new blogshop - got the info from reading the owner's blog. professional photographer, professional make up artist, taken in the studio perhaps. all these contribute to such an amazing shot. it makes readers want to buy that dress!
selling at RM57

Lollipop in Wonderland
lightings no good, lousy colour. the colour of the dress dont look appealing at all. looks like an old dress, can't quite see the designs on the dress. everything looks sooooo 'down'. even though they're selling the dress at RM7 cheaper, but they sure loose out on customers/readers coz of lousy pictures

I just dealt with lollipop, and I can say that they provide top notch service. Not only the owner is patient in answering my enquiries but they are also being honest whether the top will fit me or not.
I do agree that photos are very important to sell their products. But I think the photo by an old flame is overphotoshopped. The real thing might not be so true in colour wise.
Hello,
No offense to you and your reviews, but i'd appreciate it if you got your facts straight before writing this post up claiming that we got so much "professional help" according to the owner's blog, what more accusing us of manipulating the colours.
My friend who helped take pictures is NOT A PROFESSIONAL, he just owns a nicer camera.
The professional hair and make up was only for the BLYTHE DOLL shoot, yea the one where it is obvious we were clad in heavy make up.
NOT this BACK TO BASICS series with the white wall, that was our own simple hair and basic make up.
Thanks for your compliments on the quality of our pictures. But rest assured we dont over-photoshop our pictures til the colors are misleading. As far as we're concerned, this dress "Blue Paradise" is definitely blue in colour, not purple.
