from a reader...
-----------------------------------
i totally agree with one of the previous posts by one of the reader of fashion truth
i dont get why some must be greedy and push the price up so high when others selling RM 15 bucks cheaper too can make a profit out of it.
please dont bullshit us customers that you have different suppliers as i actually know where some of you get your stocks at a much lower price. quality is all the same please dont tell me you have to bare the defects from the supplier. if you have a chance getting the defected pieces, so do other blogshops who sell at a cheaper price.
and yes babes there are many other places out there who sell the exact same pieces you see online in a retail shop with more expenses to be paid. if those retail shop owners who need to pay rent electricity and salaries can make a profit at a lower price and yet still make a profit out of it. you must have marked up the price sky high as you do not have to pay as much expenses.
to those of you who said that we have diff point of view because im a customer and your a seller thus you wanna maximise profit. do you take economics? making profit isnt a market failure but making supernormal profit is!
also i cant stress how much i agree that why is it sellers always say petrol price hiked up so we are charging or charging more for cod. what about customers who themselve also have to go and grab the item from you? also like the writer wrote, the petrol price went down. why arent your cod prices going down as well? lame excuses i would say.
owh and i also cant stand it when they cancel of cod. when we cancel them they blacklist us. when they turn out late or cancels them. they give us excuses and say sorry.
i would like to praise fashion truth for acting like a government regulating the online market which some are definitely acting up like a oligopoly to push up prices. with this blog, hopefully the price will be more reasonable after being "moderated"
to the person who posted in diary of an e-shopaholic cursing fashion truth that the owner of this blog will have karma. yup i do hope the blog owner will have karma in doing us such a good deed. =)
however, i do not agree that diary of an e-shopaholic is not being neutral. she is just reviewing nice items so we customers can see what great items are newly stocked. she is not responsible for comparing prices.
i have never seen xash siding customers nor sellers. she is neutral in the sense that she is acting as a medium for beautiful clothings which does not mean those clothes should be compared in terms of price.
just my two cents.
hope i do not offend anyone.
thank you.
FROM FT :
so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.
so here it is:
Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.
and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]
prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.
[do email us at fashion.truth@gmail.com if we miss out any! ]
anyway,
for now...
the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.
sellers/buyers/readers, do email us and give us your feedback on what else we should add on this blog / this header-or-intro / anything to clarify. thank u very much
*wont be updating for the next 3 days. meanwhile, we urge readers to write in to us ya!
thanks!

blogroll
e-shops that wants to be added into the blogroll, please send us an email at fashion.truth@gmail.com
would appreciate if u all could link us up too
price comparisons
1. only items which have a price difference of RM7/8 and above will be posted up.
2. the price used for this price comparison is the price stated on the e-shop's webpage. (i understand that sometimes prices for items may vary depending on customers. some e-shops just put a high price as to allow further bargaining by the customers.)
mailing list
we appreciate it if eshop owners remove us from their mailing list. we are not a fashion review site thus there's no need for us to receive mails from u all telling us that u've updated. just add us up and we'll link u up at the blogroll. with that, readers will know when u update.
thank u

Well sad to say,
No matter how expensive a cost of a dress or a blouse is there are high chances of getting defected goods too. What about purchasing a thousand six nokia phone? Do u think 100s of RM1600 nokia phone function in great condition?
The same applies to clothe. This does not mean that seller who purchase from an expensive supplier then the clothes will not be defected. If it is defected, cheaper supplier's quality wil turn out to be worst. There is no such things. Defected goods are common!
Another thing, As said. Everyone purchase from their favourite Supplier. So why bother to change when we're actually comfy with our current one? Why bother to seek for new supplier with lower price? This does not mean other supplier supply the type of clothes we sellers desire. If things are so easy, there wont be 300suppliers out there, where only one or 2 will be seller's favourite shop.
There is no such things as getting benifit as in discount if we are regular. I stand strong to my point as I'm facing this situation currently:)! As said, certain e-shop sellers wants to earn bigbuck, some are calculative some didnt even have sales before. This can be applied to supplier where due to profit, they didnt even wants to deduct a single cent. As everyone have diff opinion in looking at things, perhaps like "My customers should be afraid of me for not supplying them beautiful clothes. They need me more than i need them" Who knows? :)!
