I'd like to congratulate you for coming up with the concept behind Fashion Truth and I honestly think it is a great idea! Keep the effort going even though certain people might put you down for now.
From MY two different perspectives:
As a blogshop owner:
- I want to get back my cost price at least, if not profit.
- Does business based on TRUST
- Price my items at a price that I myself would buy
- Makes me happy when the buyer is satisfied with the item.
And because of these reasons I do not mind (or should I say, all shop owners would not mind) all the hassle in bringing the clothes in, advertising, COD-ing and whatnot.
It isn't easy but hey, nothing is easy.As an online shopper:
- Hopes to purchase quality goods at a good price
- Expect good customer service
- Discounts if possible :D
Just one point I would like to make here to the buyers: Could you reply e-mails or text messages even though you do not want the item anymore? As in even though you were just inquiring, I would prefer if you make an effort to at least tell me you aren't interested anymore.
This is because (I don't know is it just me or what) I sort of reserve the item for you just in case it is non-restockable and you might want it.
So if anyone asks about it I would try sending another e-mail but no response from the inquirer.
24 hours after the e-mail, I would let it go.
Is this something I should do or not?
