FROM FT :
so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.

so here it is:

Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.

and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]

prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.

[do email us at fashion.truth@gmail.com if we miss out any! ]

anyway,
for now...
the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.

sellers/buyers/readers, do email us and give us your feedback on what else we should add on this blog / this header-or-intro / anything to clarify. thank u very much

*wont be updating for the next 3 days. meanwhile, we urge readers to write in to us ya!

thanks!

blogroll

e-shops that wants to be added into the blogroll, please send us an email at fashion.truth@gmail.com
would appreciate if u all could link us up too

price comparisons
1. only items which have a price difference of RM7/8 and above will be posted up.
2. the price used for this price comparison is the price stated on the e-shop's webpage. (i understand that sometimes prices for items may vary depending on customers. some e-shops just put a high price as to allow further bargaining by the customers.)

mailing list
we appreciate it if eshop owners remove us from their mailing list. we are not a fashion review site thus there's no need for us to receive mails from u all telling us that u've updated. just add us up and we'll link u up at the blogroll. with that, readers will know when u update.

thank u

Reader 93

i recently browse through the online shops for a skinny jeans.
I manage to find one from a specific blog.
I enquire for measurements and extra pictures.
As the pictures they had were just two, and is not able to see the very details of it.

I wanted pictures of it, but i was told they were busy with assignments and couldnt do so.
I understand that part. So i asked for COD, where to their convenience, they gave me sunway , mount kiara and bkt tinggi i think.
Since the easiest for me was mount kiara, i decided to just drive there, meet them and take a look at the piece.
but please BEAR IN MIND I'M IN NEED OF BLACK SKINNY JEANS BADLY for work.

So i asked nicely,
"and if I were to meet up for COD, and take a look at the pants, and its not to my liking and not purchase it, Would you be okay with that? As i've asked for more pictures, but you girls said u are too busy with finals. So thats my only choice I hope you'll understand."

but all i got reply was this,
"Umm, if you know that it's against many blogshop's policy to COD an item only to have the customer not want it anymore. It's not fair to us as we took the liberty to arrange a time to meet you despite our busy schedule. Moreover, the pictures provided on our website is sufficient enough for our other customers and it isnt fair to allow you to look before buying. What you see on our site is what you get.
So, please make up your mind if you want the item or not cos you either buy it or you dont.
We hope you understand. Hope to hear form you soon."

I know the blogshop owner would know who they are, but please understand i'm just getiing advise here.

Please someone Can you tell me, do I have the rights to take a look at the pants, I mean all i wanna look at the very details, but my chances of buying is HIGH!

Yes i know the rules of what you see is what you get. I've been buying online this whole year, i hardly go to shops to buy anymore.

But the pictures of theirs is just insufficient to me.
The picture attached is from the blogshop.
please someone advise me.

well personally i understand their plight at having drive all the way to meet a client and having to face the possibility of an unsuccessful sale.

but I think it is best that you ask the shop owners if it's possible for you to crash one of their COD appointments so that they would not have to go to that place solely to meet you. It's a win-win situation!

Another suggestion along the lines of the last comment, perhaps you might want to...

(1) Give the blogshop owner your measurements and see if she can compare the measurements against the skinny jeans OR

(2) Try to meet where it's MOST convenient for her, such as near where she lives or at her uni. That way she doesn't have to drive all the way to the designated "COD hotspots".

From my experience, I wasn't sure if I could fit the item I was eyeing, so the blogshop owner helped me by requesting my measurements. After that she was still not sure if I could fit but could tell I was a serious buyer, so she suggested a COD only near her place to try it on first and even said it was ok if it could not fit.

I think it was because I was willing to meet my "very busy" blogshop owner right behind where she lived (means she only had to walk to meet me), she was more than willing to let me try her item on the spot first, even though I was already 90% sure I was going to purchase it.. It turned out to be a sweet deal :)

Not sure if you'll get such kind service from this blogshop owner, but you could always try if you really, really want the item :)

Hi, cr8tivethinker,

Thanks for ur advise. I've done so. but the owner is just.. i dunno.
I don't even wanna return to them.
yes its not only about the measurements, is the jeans itself. I mean wouldnt you be concerned for a detail picture of the back of the jeans and all?
I wanted that, i got rejected. and now the owner says i'm rude.

I've asked for their HOTSPOTS too by the way. mont kiara was once of the place given. Thats why i opted for there, which i'm guessing its to their convenience, as it was FOC.
