Hello fashion truth.
I saw many reader comments on your blog and thought i'd put in my two cents too.
COD charges I've no complaints about this either.
While its true that some shops like clothesbucket or dressinglab or midnight glam (the few i've bought :) ) don't charge cod's. Maybe other owners doesnt live around your area and she goes all the way to meet you where its convinient for you. And come'on girls, if its such a big deal then why not opt for postage? Thats what i do most of the time even if cod is free. you pay you get the item solved! And COD charges are normally really minimal RM 2 or 3 maybe? is it really that big a deal? we go to restaurants that charge us RM 6 for drinks sometimes and we happily pay.So for someone to come all the way to meet me for a few ringgit i dont think its that big a deal. ( of course this doesnt apply if she charges when she lives IN the area)
CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I'm not really fussy about REALLY SUPER NICE owners. As long as they arent rude im fine :)some people complain that owners are unfriendly, maybe if you ask too many questions they do get unfriendly.normally if i have questions i just write it all out in ONE email instead of being long winded and sending back and forth emails enquiring about the clothes,i mean these owners DO have other customers as well right? they cant be continously emailing you back and forth over ONE item that other customers want and are readily willing to pay straight up.
RUSHING PAYMENTS
however, thats something i really dont like.if there's someone else who wants the item you have reserved and you're 100 percent sure you want it.just tell the owner she'll understand.
LATE REPLIES/ DONT SEND ITEMS WHEN SUPPOSED TO (MAIL)l
ate replies kinda suck for me but i dont expect instant replies.shop owners have a life too, it isnt their soul purpose in life to run an e boutique.most of them are studying some are working give them a break.just not TOO LATE a reply. it gets frustrating sometimes.as for sending out the mail late? well as long as im not in a rush to get it its okay the first time unless they keep making stupid excuses for themselves.and its good to TELL US CUSTOMERS when you couldnt send it out!i mean you expect us to tell you when we've made payments but you cant tell us when we can get our items?
EXCHANGE POLICIES AND DEFECTED GOODS
i once bought a top from ticktock365 and there was a a stain on the top. but i didnt complain i mean i dont expect them to check every inch of their clothes.but its good if all boutiques do.i mean generally check just in case. :)
wearsandwhatnots were really nice to me.i had asked to purchase one of their white dresses, upon receiving it it was a little see through, im fussy about white and see through even a littleso i told her about it,although there was a no return policy on her blog she offered to change the white one for a purple one that was available.that was nice of her and i had forgotten about a cod and she just said it was okay and she'd meet me the next day.i still shop with her now and then and she gives me discounts sometimes.we all say we have COMSUMERS rights but boutiques DONT have to be this nice to us.ESP if its already stated on their blogs.thats good customer service :)
clothesville - it had totally slipped my mind that i had to make a payment to her and she still saved my piece for me :)
rainbowmallows - she brought in a restock item for me although i hadnt paid yet.she was quite intimidating with the "make sure you dont give me false promises" thing but i guess i see where she's coming from.
lavidaviva - i smsed her telling her my white dress was see through but she advised skin coloured underwear and all that.she didnt just shun me or anything. it wasnt that see through but white and see through with me and i get fussy like i said.she was nice anyway and i like nice. :)
midnight glam - i like them :) they restocked a dress for me and they also didnt mind that i was late and they were in a rush.so sweet ;)
so anyway girls, although i totally agree on consumer rights and being cheated and all that NOT ALL BOUTIQUES ARE OUT TO CHEAT YOU and we also have to be fair to boutique owners! it isnt their soul purpose to serve us.they are people too!we wouldnt go into jimmy choo look at his designs and complain about his stores service, the design of his shops or his shipping prices right? if we like what we see we buy it.if the prices are high then we dont unelss we're willing to pay.
just saying. xoxo
FROM FT :
so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.
so here it is:
Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.
and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]
prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.
[do email us at fashion.truth@gmail.com if we miss out any! ]
anyway,
for now...
the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.
sellers/buyers/readers, do email us and give us your feedback on what else we should add on this blog / this header-or-intro / anything to clarify. thank u very much
*wont be updating for the next 3 days. meanwhile, we urge readers to write in to us ya!
thanks!

e-shops that wants to be added into the blogroll, please send us an email at fashion.truth@gmail.com
would appreciate if u all could link us up too
price comparisons
1. only items which have a price difference of RM7/8 and above will be posted up.
2. the price used for this price comparison is the price stated on the e-shop's webpage. (i understand that sometimes prices for items may vary depending on customers. some e-shops just put a high price as to allow further bargaining by the customers.)
mailing list
we appreciate it if eshop owners remove us from their mailing list. we are not a fashion review site thus there's no need for us to receive mails from u all telling us that u've updated. just add us up and we'll link u up at the blogroll. with that, readers will know when u update.
