FROM FT :
so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.

so here it is:

Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.

and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]

prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.

[do email us at fashion.truth@gmail.com if we miss out any! ]

anyway,
for now...
the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.

sellers/buyers/readers, do email us and give us your feedback on what else we should add on this blog / this header-or-intro / anything to clarify. thank u very much

*wont be updating for the next 3 days. meanwhile, we urge readers to write in to us ya!

thanks!

blogroll

e-shops that wants to be added into the blogroll, please send us an email at fashion.truth@gmail.com
would appreciate if u all could link us up too

price comparisons
1. only items which have a price difference of RM7/8 and above will be posted up.
2. the price used for this price comparison is the price stated on the e-shop's webpage. (i understand that sometimes prices for items may vary depending on customers. some e-shops just put a high price as to allow further bargaining by the customers.)

mailing list
we appreciate it if eshop owners remove us from their mailing list. we are not a fashion review site thus there's no need for us to receive mails from u all telling us that u've updated. just add us up and we'll link u up at the blogroll. with that, readers will know when u update.

thank u

Reader 101

Hello, ive just recently started reading Fashion Truth and quite frankly, i am quite surprised to read some bad things about a few of the blogshops ive bought from.

Especially complaints from Readers 93 & 94 who wrote in about The Bouncing Bananas.

I have bought more than 3 items from them before, and though i only dealt with Michelle Lim, they were really nice when they answered me via sms and email. Once, she even had to wait for me for about 30minutes as i forgotten about the COD, but she didnt even show an angry face. She waited in Starbucks and when i arrived, she smiled and told me to have a seat (as it was raining outside) and i was waiting for my mom. She even offered me some chocolates (i remembered they were Famous Amos, hehe) and asked if i'd like some coffee. I thought that was really nice. :)

So perhaps maybe when Reader 94 had her CODs with them, it was probably a bad time cos i have friends from The One Academy too and they are always busy and lack sleep. (haha, makes me feel much better about my course now) So i can understand why they might have made a mistake when sending out the shoes, it could happen to anyone, but i dont think they make that mistake all the time for i only see 1 buyer complaining about that. And i think that they didnt have a choice when the lecturer extended their classes. I know, cos i was 'ditched' by my TOA friend a few times too, but i understand it's not their fault. Sometimes you cant do anything about it.And i thought it was nice of them to apologize, it's not an easy thing to do publicly cos it could definitely affect their sales.

And when i read what Reader 93 wrote (not trying to offend you here dear, it's just my opinion):

"Please someone Can you tell me, do I have the rights to take a look at the pants, I mean all i wanna look at the very details, but my chances of buying is HIGH!"

i dont think that it's right for her to be so angry when TBB did not allow her to look at those jeans during COD. It's online shopping for goodness sake. Like when you buy from eBay, there's no such thing as looking-before-buying. Maybe some blogshops allow that, but if they dont, you shouldnt make such a fuss. Like what TBB said, it's either you buy or dont buy. No one is forcing you to buy. I bought those skinny jeans from them and they actually gave me measurements for the size that i wanted before buying which i think is sufficient enough. Their photo was pretty clear too, compared to another blogshop i saw which was selling the same thing. That other shop dont even show so much of the jeans, it's more focused on the model's face (-.-)

Anyways, i bought those jeans and it was exactly like how it was in the photo, and thanks to the measurements given, it fits like a glove. :)But my point is, no one forced you to buy from that blogshop. You can always scour the net for another blogshop who would allow you to look at those jeans, even try them on first if you like. You cant blame a blogshop just cos they dont practice policies which you want.I dont really think the email Reader 93 sent was 'asking nicely' either. It sounded hostile and demanding.Im not surprised that TBB replied her quite sarcastically, her words were demanding, whiny, and defensive. (again, that's just what i think, im just being honest)

On another issue,I also read alot of other posts (from buyers) where they like to state that

"The customer is always right".

I think that is utter bullshit, as it is online shopping. That rule only applies to big companies, restaurants, etc as they have policies and they work under big brand names and such.Though it may be an unwritten rule in online shopping, i think that these are just basic guidelines.

You cannot say that 'the customer is always right' because there are so many scenarios where customers are very very wrong.

1. When a buyer backs out at the last minute, is she considered 'right'?
2. When they made a promise to the seller to bank in but then disappeared, are they 'right'?
3. When they reserved an item but never made payment in the end, are they 'right'?

Admit it, so many BUYERS out there TAKE ADVANTAGE of online shopping blogs. They dont practice proper buying ethics and they expect the seller to do so.Of course sellers too have their own wrongs, but i can understand why now many blogshops have taken precaution and tightened their dealing methods.

These are just my opinions though, so please take it with a pinch of salt. It's nothing personal.
