hie buyers and sellers too =)
We would like to voice out our opinion on restocking and re-ordering issue. There are times when an item can be re-stocked or re-ordered, by right at least full or half payment is required to secure the restock or re-order even for COD delivery, don't you agree with me?
Usually restock or re-order items are quite fast selling and popular items which tend to catch the many eyes of online buyers. Buyers that have the intention to place a restock or re-order will then contact the seller for confirmation of the purchase. After corresponding with emails or text messages, the buyer decides to confirm the purchase and then request for the seller to send in the bank account details (buyers are well aware that restock/reorder needs advance payment after seller telling them so). Bank account details have been given to the buyer and the seller awaits payment. The seller have stated the dateline or cut-off time that the buyer make payment or else the buyer's name will not be on the final restock/re-order list. There are many outcome scenarios that we as sellers would like to share:
Scenario A: The buyer expresses very very very much interest or promise to make payment in advance while dealing with the seller. The dateline of cut-off time for payment have passed and then no news from the buyer at all. We consider this as backing out last minute and their names will be blacklisted/highlighted if he/she returns to buy from the seller again in the future.
View from us on Scenario A: This scenario is inevitable at times because many buyers due to unforeseen circumstances will backout or change their minds from their purchases we don't blame them because we sellers are avid online shoppers also do understand. BUT do inform the us that you're no longer interested in the item so that we know total number of restocks/reorders that should be placed to the supplier. We consider blacklisting customers only when the purchase is quite confirm such as when the bank account details have been given out to the buyer.
Scenario B:The buyer make payment on time, but not the amount that was agreed on to be paid between the buyer and the seller.(e.g. seller request for RM 50 but the buyer only banks in RM 20) The buyer then promises and guarantees that he/she will make the remaining payment when the stock have arrive or he/she have enough money to make payment. Should the buyer be included the final restock/re-order list?
View from us on Scenario B: We feel that this is quite unfair to the us being the seller that payment that is stipulated or required is not fulfill. We will do restock/re-order items ONLY when the required payment is meet. We're sorry but we do need these regulations to safeguard ourselves as sellers. Therefore, refund will the made to the buyer of the amount that he/she have made to us.
Scenario C: After the designated dateline or cut-off time have passed, the seller decides to make payment after ironing out the circumstances that is deterring them from making payment (forgetting or just too busy or couldn't find the time reasons etc...) Then, the buyer notifies the seller that payment have been made and then eagerly awaits for response from the seller. And if the seller explains that it is too late to make payment, the buyer gets disappointed. Sometimes, the buyer may get lucky if the we get to contact the supplier in time to place more orders and so happen that supplier have sufficient stocks to give it to the seller therefore, both parties are happy. BUT at times, supplier may ran out of extra stocks for the restock/re-order and refund have to be made to the buyer.
View from us on Scenario C: This scenario is quite tough because payment have been made but after the designated date-line or cut-off time and we have finalized our restock/reorder list already which we have inform our supplier to keep aside the stocks for us. The buyer will give reasons to support their actions of late payment. However,we do a FULL refund to the buyer and apologizes for such situation if they are not included in the final restock/reorder list. We hope that buyers in the future who have already place a restock/reorder with sellers make payment prudently or on time to avoid such difficult situation which does not benefit both seller and buyer.
These are the few scenarios that we encounter when we do restock/re-order. These scenarios are not meant specifically or particularly to anyone. We apologize if any of our views and points offended anyone. Just sharing our experience as sellers and hope that any of these scenarios will not happen as often.
Thank you.
FROM FT :
so sorry but we should have made certain points clear right at the beginning. some of u readers may be clear of these stuff because u all have been reading the site from the very beginning. but for the "newbies", they probably don't know about it.
so here it is:
Price Comparisons.
well it may not be an appropriate 'name' to some. so, shall we change the title? we were thinking of changing it to "alternatives". just that.
and also, some readers may not know why prices differ so much. is it because the sellers just want to make a higher profit? or are there reasons behind it?
here goes : [have been widely discussed in the earlier stages of this blog]
prices may differ because :
1. some sellers wanna earn more, some sellers settle for less profits. some sellers just want to price their items lower than the popular blogs just to attract more customers.
2. sellers do get cheated by the suppliers. different suppliers charge differently.
3. some sellers hire models to model their clothings
4. some sellers do have an 'offline boutique'. offline boutiques are usually more expensive than online boutiques
5. occasionally, some sellers import their items from overseas, but they didn't know that their items can be bought locally at a much lower price.
6. some sellers MAY HAVE included COD charges & postage charges into their stated price.
[do email us at fashion.truth@gmail.com if we miss out any! ]
anyway,
for now...
the SITE IS UNDER 'CONSTRUCTION'. do bear with us for the time being. lol. not major construction, just wanna draft out a proper "header/intro" so new readers dont get the wrong idea.
sellers/buyers/readers, do email us and give us your feedback on what else we should add on this blog / this header-or-intro / anything to clarify. thank u very much
*wont be updating for the next 3 days. meanwhile, we urge readers to write in to us ya!
thanks!
